Amar Dwivedi, a well known Ano Rectal surgeon (Piles, Fistula, Ksharsutra Therapy
Specialist), received 'Dhanvantari Award' for excellence in Research (Ayurvedic
Surgery) at International Conference on Ayurved held in Rajkot, Gujrat.
Last year he was felicitated with 'International Excellence Award' for expertise
in Piles, Fistula, Ksharsutra Therapy at Malaysia and Colombo, Sri Lanka. He also
won 'Best Research Paper Award' based on Ksharsutra therapy in World Ayurved Congress,
Bhopal, India.

In the inaugural function of 6th International conference on 'Ayurved and Complimentary
system of Medicine' which was held at Malaysia on 5th August 2012 'Tathagat International
Excellance Award’ was conferred upon to Dr. Amar Dwivedi for his unmatched contribution
in propagation of Ayurveda with special reference to his skills and expertise in
Ano - rectal Surgical practice and promoting Ayurvedic 'Ksharsutra' procedure. The
ceremony was graced by presence of Dr.Arun Jamkar (Vice-Chancellor MUHS), Hon. Dato
Dr. Lim siow Jin (Founder, DXN Industries- Malaysia), Prof. Nobert Lotz (Germany),
Dr. Subhash Ranade, Dr. Vijay Jadhav and many eminent dignitaries from the field
of Ayurved.

In 6th International conference on 'Ayurved and Complimentary system of Medicine'
which was held at Malaysia on 5th August 2012, a new innovation by Dr.Dwivedi ‘ADR -
Ksharsutra Kit' which is disposable 'Ksharsutra Applicator with embedded sterile
Ksharsutra' made up of HDPE was launched. This advanced device will going to be
a breakthrough in fistula management by making the entire procedure very smooth
and will be helpful in Globalization of Ksharsutra technique for fistula ablation
and acceptable to modern surgeons.
